Bilgesam Vakit — Privacy Policy

Who and what this policy covers

This privacy policy applies to Bilgesam Vakit, developed by Bilgesam and published on Google Play under the package name com.bilgesam.vakit.

It covers this app only, not third-party sites or services you may open from it. By installing and using the app you accept this policy. For questions, write to destek@bilgesam.com.

What data we process

The table below lists the data types Bilgesam Vakit processes, why they are processed and whether they are required. It is generated from the same source as our Data Safety declaration in Google Play Console.

Data sharing

Your data is shared with the service providers below, only for the stated purpose and only to the extent that purpose requires:

• Google AdMob — serving and measuring ads (device advertising ID) (https://policies.google.com/privacy)
• Google Play Billing — in-app purchases and refunds (https://policies.google.com/privacy)
• Firebase Crashlytics — crash reporting and stability metrics (https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy)

Beyond this we do not sell, rent or transfer your data to data brokers. We may disclose information to authorities where legally required.

Retention and deletion

Your location is used in memory during the calculation only and is not stored. If you created an account, your email address and settings are kept until the account is deleted. Crash and diagnostic records are kept for at most 90 days.

Security

All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted with HTTPS/TLS. Access to data is limited to people who need it for their work. No system is 100% secure, but we update the app regularly to close known vulnerabilities.

Permissions

The app requests the Android permissions below. Each is used only for the function listed next to it; sensitive permissions are requested only when you start the related feature and can be revoked from device settings at any time.

• Internet access — to download content and sync.
• Network state — to switch to offline mode when there is no connection.
• Location — for location-based features, only while the app is open and only if you allow it.
• Notifications — to show reminders and alerts.
• Exact alarms — so reminders fire at the exact minute.
• Run at restart — to restore your reminders after the device reboots.
• Google Play Billing — for in-app purchases.

Ads and purchases

The app shows ads. Ads are served through Google advertising services and may use your device advertising ID. You can reset that ID or turn off personalised ads in Android settings. Ad content is restricted to match the app’s content rating.

In-app purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. Your card details never reach us; Google handles the payment data. Refunds follow Google Play’s refund rules.

Children’s privacy

The app is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from users under 13. If we learn that such data has reached us, we delete it without delay. If you are a parent and believe we hold data about your child, write to destek@bilgesam.com.

Your rights

Under GDPR and Turkey’s KVKK you have the right to access the data we process about you, to have it corrected, to request its deletion, to object to processing and to receive a copy of it.

Send your request to destek@bilgesam.com; once we have verified your identity we respond within 30 days at the latest, free of charge.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app changes. The current version is always published at https://apps.bilgesam.com/apps/bilgesam-vakit/privacy with the last-updated date at the top. For significant changes we also notify you inside the app.
